Please be advised that a Special Meeting of the Bergen County Improvement Authority (“BCIA”) will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017, in the Auditorium at 327 E. Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, New Jersey. There will be no work session.  To the extent known, the only items on the agenda will be the Emerson/Oradell Project; Authorization to Use Competitive Contracting for the purpose of Owner’s Representative Consultant at New Bridge Medical Center; and Authorization to Enter into Lease Agreement for 133 River Street, Hackensack, NJ between County of Bergen and BCIA.  Formal action may be taken.

The Bergen County Improvement Authority seeks to be an avenue to a higher quality of life for the citizens of Bergen County through means of project stewardship within our county and its communities and through access to quality health care services at Bergen Regional Medical Center.


The mission of the Bergen County Improvement Authority is to serve the needs of Bergen County by:

Participating in community and county projects by providing creative solutions and access to favorable financing. Seeking to continuously improve the quality of health care services rendered to patients and residents by the private manager of the Bergen Regional Medical Center, consistent with the Authority's historic responsibility to maintain a safety net for the health care needs of the citizens of Bergen County.
