RETREAT WEEKEND at FORT LEE HISTORIC PARK - "The Times That Try Men's Souls" 241st "Retreat from Fort Lee." Events include music, cooking, artillery demonstrations, and more. Sunday events are 2-4 pm. Entrance off Hudson Terrace just south of the George Washington Bridge.

Meadowlands Museum is hosting a special presentation by Jonathan Cohen on: "Al Que Quiere" a collection of poems by William Carlos Williams, which he subtitled, "To Whom It May Concern." It was published in 1917 by First Seas Press and it now out in a Centennial Edition published by New Directions. Copies of the New Directions book, which was edited by Jonathan Cohen, will be available for purchase. MORNING BUS TOUR: Williams Carlos Williams Historic Tour will precede this program. Tour participants are asked to sign up at the Rutherford Borough Clerk’s Office, 176 Park Ave. between 9 am and 4 pm Mon.-Fri. Participants are asked to be at the Rutherford Public Library,150 Park Ave, at 11 am. The bus will leave the library at 11:30 am. Tour will end at 1 pm at the Meadowlands Museum. A box lunch will be made available at the museum. A modest donation to cover the cost of the box lunch will be requested.
