Safety Planning

Safety planning is an ongoing and individualized process that considers the risks involved in remaining or leaving a relationship. When you are in physical danger calling 911 may or may not be a choice in your particular circumstance. However, do not threaten to call as this can increase the level of danger.

Safety planning is a process helpful for a victim as well as an abuser. ADV staff is trained to develop a plan to help keep you safe.
