Please, be advised that We are expecting a complicated winter storm to hit our region tomorrow, February 12, 2019. While forecasts change, we currently expect snow to begin falling just before or during morning commuting hours. By midday, snow will change to sleet, with freezing rain expected in the evening. The combination of snow, sleet, and freezing rain may contribute to more dangerous conditions during and following the storm. Be advised that communities at higher elevation in northwestern Bergen County are expected to experience greater storm impact. We are encouraging members of the public to be prepared for difficult road conditions. If you do not need to travel during the storm, please don’t. If you must travel on the roads tomorrow, please remain alert and exercise caution and good judgment, and consider delaying your commute if that is an option for you.
