BERGEN COUNTY TO DISTRIBUTE NEARLY $4 MILLION IN PPE TO MUNICIPAL PARTNERS

What:  Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco invites all media to the Bergen County Annex in Paramus on Wednesday, September 16 as the Bergen County Office of Emergency Management distributes a new shipment of personal protection equipment (PPE) to municipal partners throughout the County. Utilizing FEMA and CARES Act relief funds, the County of Bergen recently made a bulk cooperative purchase upwards of nearly $4 million for assorted PPE including masks, gowns, face shields, and gloves to ensure that the County of Bergen and its municipal partners have the resources necessary in preparation of a potential second COVID-19 wave.
