BERGEN COUNTY TO HOST FOOD SECURITY TASK FORCE PANTRY SUMMIT IN VAN SAUN COUNTY PARK

What:  Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco and the Board of County Commissioners invite members of the media to Van Saun County Park on Tuesday, July 27 for the first ever Bergen County Food Security Task Force Pantry Summit. The event will bring together stakeholders from across the county to share ideas, discuss best practices and challenges, and learn about the important local, county, and nonprofit services available to pantries and their clients. The summit will also mark the one-year anniversary of the Bergen County Food Security Task Force, which launched last July in response to the unprecedented increase in food insecurity caused by the COVID-19 global health crisis.
