BERGEN COUNTY TO HOST ANNUAL GREAT HUNGER REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY

WHAT: Please join Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners, and the Council of Irish Associations of Greater Bergen County as they host the County’s annual Great Hunger Remembrance Ceremony. The event honors the memory of the more than one million lives lost during the Irish Potato Famine (An Gorta Mór) and pays tribute to the strength and perseverance of the Irish people and their descendants.

The ceremony serves as a moment of reflection and recognition of the Irish American community’s enduring contributions to Bergen County.

Where: The Piazza at One Bergen County Plaza, Hackensack, NJ 07601
