Who We Are
The Bergen County Office of LGBTQ+ Services provides a safe and welcoming environment for residents who identify as LGBTQ+. The Office promotes awareness, equality and acceptance through advocacy, education and outreach. We want all Bergen County residents to live authentically in their communities and to be able to access all of the many resources that are available.
Our Mission
- To create an inclusive and supportive environment for all LGBTQ+ residents.
- To build relationships and partnerships with outside organizations and allies who advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.
- To promote our hotline for LGBTQ+ residents in need of referrals for crisis intervention, legal advocacy and education. Hotline # (201) 336-6008.
- To partner with the Bergen County Department of Human Services by working together and sharing resources within the community.
