Vaccine Clinics
Since all County buildings have been closed to the public, rabies clinics are suspended at this time. We will advise via social media and on our website once clinics resume. Thank you so much for your understanding.
About the Clinic
Vaccine clinics are open to residents of New Jersey or cats and dogs adopted from our shelter. There is no charge for the rabies vaccines. Bordetella, Canine Distemper and Feline Distemper shots as well as microchips, are available for a fee. If your pet has previous vaccines, please bring the certificates with you when you come.
The clinic is scheduled on two Thursdays a month. Please check the calendar for the next clinic date. The clinic runs from 3:30-6:30pm, however non-rabies vaccines and/or microchips are only administered from 3:30-5:30pm.
Dogs and cats must be older than 4 months to receive a rabies shot. We do not administer any other vaccines to pets less than a year old. Please see your veterinarian for your puppy’s or kitten’s first set of vaccines. All animals that are brought to the Shelter must be restrained, either by collar and leash or in a carrier. Flexible leashes are not permitted in the Shelter.
