Intoxicated Driver Resource Center

Purpose

The Bergen County Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) educates and evaluates drunk and drugged drivers, boaters, and underage drinkers who have been convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI). These offenders are mandated by the court to participate in the IDRC program. Non-compliant offenders face revocation of their licenses and possible incarceration.

Program

The two-day program includes six hours per day of drug and alcohol education as well as screening, treatment referral, and monitoring when indicated.
Additional County-Designated IDRC Class Information

The class fee is to be paid by MONEY ORDER OR CERTIFIED CHECK ONLY made payable to Bergen County IDRC.  WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS, CREDIT CARDS OR CASH.  The required IDRC program fee of $264 is due upon your arrival on the first day of class.  This fee is separate from any court imposed fines, fees or restoration costs charged by or paid to the Motor Vehicle Commission and State Offices.  Failure to pay this fee will result in being denied entry into the class and will also result in program noncompliance.
